A Norwegian family vacationing on La Palma is thrown into chaos when a researcher discovers signs of an impending volcanic eruption that could trigger a massive tsunami. The geographical coordinate shown is the exact location in Tenerife shown as a “safe place” from the tsunami. 28.218998 -16.414642. Aside from some silly maneuvering by annoying characters (we all know who they are), I enjoyed this series. Was well put together and intense, especially the last two episodes. Yet one question bothered me so much towards the end of the series that it prompted me to write this review. Assuming one could protect oneself from gases and lava, wouldn’t it have been safer to stay on La Palma? The tsunami was moving in the other direction, away from the island (unlike the 2004 Boxing Day tsunami, which started in the middle of the sea and hit the coast), so you might think the high ground on the other side of the landslide would have offered some shelter. Make it sense. One Hundred Years of Solitude is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month. Check out our December calendar for more!
